DILL: facilitates digestion, promotes the elimination of gas from the intestine and stomach; it also helps the disposal of toxins and excess liquids, purifying the body and fighting cellulite. It is an excellent ally against halitosis.
MUSTARD: mustard seeds are excellent for giving flavor to dishes while maintaining a moderate calorie intake, therefore suitable for those who follow slimming diets; a mustard infusion can help with colds and fever and stimulate blood circulation.
CLOVE:Cloves have local anesthetic and analgesic properties, they are a natural remedy for toothache; they are present in the composition of many oral disinfectants. They stimulate blood circulation, help overcome exhaustion, migraines and memory loss, are digestive and invigorating.
JUNIPER:To prepare an infusion of juniper, leave the berries to infuse for 5 minutes (7/8 gr – consider that 12/15 berries are 1g c.a.) crushed in 500 ml of boiling water. Drinking 2 cups a day of this infusion promotes diuresis, calms the cough and purifies the urinary tract.
DILL: Ideal for flavoring pickles, seasoning fish, shellfish and soups or for enriching homemade bread. Excellent for hamburgers, it goes perfectly with yogurt and cucumbers, used for example for the famous Greek tzatziki sauce.
MUSTARD: They accompany meat, fish, cheeses, pickles and vegetables and flavor sandwiches. Before using the seeds, they should be soaked in lukewarm water for at least 2 hours. Mustard seeds can also be used in powder form as a deodorant for washing hands after handling onion, bleach, fish or any substance with a strong and not too pleasant aroma.
