CANNARA red onions compote with Balsamic Vinegar (IGP – Modena)
Sweet (but not too much), mushy and digestible with balsamic vinegar.
Ingredients: Cannara red onions, cane sugar, extravirgin olive oil, Modena balsamic vinegar, herbs, salt.
This sweet-and-sour compote is perfect with ripened cheese like pecorino or parmigiano, you can appreciate its flavour as it is on bread.
It’s excellent also with grilled meat.
